Just checking
I grew up in a small village in the Midwest.  There were sidewalks, tidy houses, three churches, three restaurants, one gas station, two grocery stores, a post office, a bank, a school for all twelve grades with a playground and a railroad track that bisected the community making a wrong side of the tracks.  We laughed about that one since we were on the right side of the tracks.  The side with all the businesses and churches.  We could easily walk from one end of the town to the other end in about twenty minutes and since our house was just one house from the end of town, we had a good starting point.  Our house like many of the others was built in the nineteenth century probably coinciding with the building of the railroad.

I discontinued my blog several years ago because of the situation I was in.  That situation has ended and I feel like continuing but with a different topic.  I will keep the same name and if anyone has any questions they would like answered by a certified Grandma, I will respond with the best answer I can find after searching the archives of my aging brain.
